United Photo Industries (UPI) is currently accepting submissions for Adventures Across the Seven Seas: a curated multimedia presentation of diverse photographic images that explore humanity’s deep relationship to water—traveling a world connected, dominated, and defined by water.
Adventures Across the Seven Seas will be jointly curated by UPI’s creative director Sam Barzilay and Feature Shoot contributing editor Amanda Gorence.
The main presentation of Adventures Across the Seven Seas will take place on August 10, 2013 at The Southampton Center grounds as part of the Center’s inaugural year of night-time summer arts programming, and will present the work of more than 35 photographers from around the world.
The event will be free to the public and the work will be screened once more during Photoville this September in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Photographers can submit up to 12 photographic images that explore humanity’s deep relationship to water—traveling a world connected, dominated, and defined by water. Image files should be at least 1080 pixels (at 72 dpi) in height.
Deadline is August 1, 2013. Submit here.
