The art of collage knows no boundaries: It could be the assemblage of images and/or words from publications, creatively placed to recontextualize original meaning; cuttings arranged to create a mood board; in painting, a Surrealist’s dream landscape; in decorative works, Decoupage; in the reassembling of photographs, Photomontage. And today, there is a also a myriad of digital software and apps for creating artistic photographic mash-ups.
We’re eager to see your interpretation of this artistic concept! Please send us your best photo-based collage work by June 25th.
The top three winners will receive a free one-year subscription to Squarespace, the intuitive website publishing platform that makes it simple for photographers to build creative and professional sites with their combo of award-winning designs, hosting, domains, and commerce. Selected photos will run on the Feature Shoot website and be promoted through our social media channels. Copyright remains with the photographer.
