For our latest group show, to be exhibited in person at PIX 2015 in Seattle this October 6-7 as well as online at DPReview, we asked to see your photographs on the theme of “Vertical Living.” Alison Zavos, Editor-in-Chief at Feature Shoot, considered well over 10,000 submissions, and our final collection features twenty-three images that elicit everything from delight to anxiety about the ways in which we live… and the possibilities of upwards expansion.
Here, travel through the states, Europe, Asia, and South America, from the architectural wonders of flourishing metropolises to the overpacked living quarters of the world’s underserved. When taken singularly, these images give us a sense of place, but when taken together, they ofter a stark—and perhaps even more powerful—vision of our global future.
PIX 2015 is a live and live-streamed event that includes inspirational talks from leading photographers, educational demonstrations for aspiring photographers, and hands-on activities geared towards showing photographers how to use new gear and learn new techniques. Hope to see you there!
