The Print Swap, Feature Shoot’s global project, has relaunched with more opportunities than ever for photographers to get their work seen. First, we’re headed back to the Indian Photo Festival in Hyderabad, India’s longest-running international photography festival, which in 2020 presented work by 350 artists across 35 countries. All photographers who swap prints through August and September 2021 will be included in our digital exhibition. You can submit your photos for consideration directly through our website or via Instagram by tagging #theprintswap.
We also have two curated exhibitions on the horizon, with an opportunity for 55 photographers to exhibit images selected by a panel of industry experts.
The first will be a printed exhibition at the Indian Photo Festival, and the second will be some 8,000 miles away in the streets of New York City, spanning locations in the Lower East Side, Soho, and the West Village. The New York show will include 30 photos, and the Hyderabad show will feature 25. Featured photographers will be chosen by Alison Zavos, the Founder of Feature Shoot; Aquin Matthews, the Founder and Director of the Indian Photo Festival; Maarten Schilt, the Founder of Schilt Publishing & Gallery; and Anna Dickson, Visual Lead at Google.
As always, every photographer who takes part in The Print Swap gives a print and receives a print of their choosing. As of this writing, available prints include those created in the lush landscapes of Kenya, the wildlife reserves of the UK, the streets of Sri Lanka, and the blue city of Jodhpur, India. It costs just $50 per image to participate, and we cover printing and shipping in full. Follow along on Instagram at @theprintswap for news and updates.
