It’s that time of year again! Photoville’s THE FENCE is bigger and better than ever, featuring over 40 photographers from around the world on view in Brooklyn, Boston and the newly added Atlanta. In its 3rd year, THE FENCE is a 1,000 foot-long outdoor photo installation that will have nearly 1.5 million people pass by in the months it is open. The selection was made by a jury of photo and editorial experts, each choosing the best images from 5 different categories – creatures, home, people, play and streets. The diversity of imagery is truly astounding, each and every story unique and captivating on this larger than life stage. Though it is nearly impossible to select just a few from the exhibit, we’ve gathered some of our favorites on show this year.
All 3 exhibits will run from now until October 2014 (Atlanta to open in July). THE FENCE is created in partnership with United Photo Industries, Photo District News (PDN), Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Flash Forward Festival and Atlanta Celebrates Photography (ACP).
